Fluoride Action Network

Education a Premium

Fluoride Action Network | Bulletin | December 3, 2016

Yesterday was a terrific fundraising day for us. Thank you all for your generous donations. We received $3430 from 25 donors, which when doubled by a very generous matching grant brought us to a grand total of $7,445 from 36 donors. There is still money left in that matching grant and the first $1250 donated today will be also be doubled. See donation details below.

Correction to Yesterday’s Bulletin–we provided an incorrect email address for Jay Sanders.  The correct address is below:

Professionals, World Alliance members, and any interested organizations or campaigns that would like to add their names to the EPA petition can also email our Outreach Director, Jay Sanders: jstandards@yahoo.com

All others can add your name in support of our citizen’s petition to the EPA by clicking here.

Education a Premium

I have no need to remind our long term supporters that as far as educating the public and decision-makers about fluoridation’s ineffectiveness and dangers is concerned it has been a massive uphill task, with the mainstream media doing a pathetic job. When they do intercede it is usually very ill-informed with most of their time quoting “authorities” and insulting our “anti-science” position! And guess what, not one media news outlet has deigned to cover our press release on the TSCA petition.

But despite this we continue to make the education of the public our prime focus. To this end we are going to use one of our premiums for this purpose. We are going to offer an attractive premium which we hope you will share with one or more friends and colleagues as a holiday gift.

For a donation of $51 we are offering the following:

A signed copy of “The Case Against Fluoride” by Connett, Beck and Micklem along with a DVD copy of the videos:

For $61 we will send you two of these educational sets!!

For $71 we will send you three !!!, and

For $81 four sets !!!!

When you share the book with friends you can point out that Chapter 15, “Fluoride and the Brain,” gives the scientific and historical context of the EPA TSCA petition. Chapter 4, “Who’s in charge?,” gives some context to the sordid history of regulatory inaction on this practice and Chapters 22 -26 an overview of the propaganda techniques used by proponents, which we have seen in spades with their denial of fluoride’s neurotoxicity – with doubtless more to come as we gain traction (with your help) with this issue in the coming days and weeks.  Your friends might also find Chapter 25 (see preview) very helpful which responds to 40 inaccurate or misleading arguments used by proponents as well as the final review and conclusion to the book, which follows Chapter 26.

You can also point out that despite making all our arguments transparent and backing them up with 80 pages of references to the scientific literature, there has been no official written response to this text from outspoken proponents of this practice. The science is on our side and they know it, that is why they want to keep the public in the dark. Each person we can educate on the science on this issue takes us one step closer to ending this unethical, outdated and risky practice.  Please get as many of your friends to read this book and watch the videos as you can.

We will be releasing more information on other premiums over the next few days – but don’t worry about missing any, you can make your donation now and claim your premium later.
