Fluoride Action Network

A Question For Our Supporters Worldwide

Fluoride Action Network | Bulletin | December 8, 2016

Fundraiser Update

Our current totals stand at $30,166 from 153 donors. In these totals we have added in recurring donations: $6,745 from 21 people. A huge thank you to these recurring donors. Each month we are reminded of your dedicated support of our cause. What a difference monthly donations make. For example, $10 a month, adds up to a yearly total of $120. $25 a month adds up to $300.

Some more good news. Another super-angel has pledged to double your donations up to a total of $5,000 and so all donations will go twice as far until we reach $33,800. Also we are only 47 donations from 200 donors, at which point we will receive an extra $1,000 and donor #200 will receive a free copy of The Case Against Fluoride signed by co-author Paul Connett.

We are very excited to find that we are on track to reaching both our ambitious goals of $150,000 from 1000 donors by midnight Dec 31. Two goals we have never achieved before!

Don’t forget our exciting premium.  For a donation of $51 we are offering the following:

A signed copy of “The Case Against Fluoride” by Connett, Beck and Micklem along with a DVD copy of the videos:

For $61 we will send you two of these educational sets!!

For $71 we will send you three !!!, and

For $81 four sets !!!!

OUR WORLDWIDE SUPPORT

FAN has the good fortune to work with a dedicated group of individuals and groups fighting fluoridation around the world. These include very active individuals and groups in Australia (FAN-Australia), Canada (COF-COF), Ireland (several groups), Israel, Japan (Japanese Society for Fluoride Research), New Zealand (FAN-NZ), the UK and many throughout the US.

We are honored to be part of this magnificent worldwide network. The key leaders have no hidden agenda; they are not in this to make money or to seek power. I know this for a fact because I have had the huge privilege of traveling to all these countries and meeting with most of the key activists.

Most importantly, these groups and campaigners are eager to help one another.  Win or lose, groups fighting fluoridation are very generous in the way they help other groups – often hundreds or even thousands miles from where they live.  This networking has been very effective in bringing people closer together. And a big thank to Clint Griess for bringing us all together each month via teleconference.

Please join the Fluoride Action Network staff and team on Saturday, December 10, at 5pm (eastern time) for this month’s call.  It’s free and will provide a year-in-review of the fluoride issue, a fluoride Q&A session for supporters, and an opportunity to interact with fellow campaigners from around the world–REGISTER NOW

Yesterday I sent this request to many of these leaders:

“Would you all be kind enough to write a short piece on why you spend so many hours on this issue (fighting fluoridation) and in some cases so much of your own money – what is the reward for so much hard work? And why do you do this when you often become a lightning rod for abuse by the media, pro-fluoridation zealots and government spokespersons. Just what is it that keeps you going? I think singly and in total your answers will make splendid reading and a wonderful bulletin(s) for us.”

And I would like to ask the same question of all of you. YOU, our most loyal supporters who come back year after year with your donations. Each year when we see the same names appear, it makes us so very happy. Please tell us why you support this cause. Over the next few days we hope to print many of your answers.
