Fluoride Action Network | Bulletin | April 14, 2021

Upcoming TSCA Trial Hearing

Mark your calendars. The next court status hearing for our TSCA lawsuit against the Environmental Protection Agency over fluoridation’s neurotoxicity is scheduled for Thursday, April 22 at 1:30pm (Pacific US). The focus will be on FAN’s motion to amend our petition to the EPA, which the Judge recommended before he placed the trial in abeyance. The amended version will have a more detailed list of plaintiffs, and will include recent studies that were part of the trial last summer.

Interview With Dr. Hardy Limeback

Brenda Staudenmaier, a water remediation specialist, a mom, an experienced organizer, and a plaintiff in the TSCA lawsuit, has produced a new 10-minute video interview with Dr. Hardy Limeback, DDS, PhD. He is the former head of preventive dentistry at the University of Toronto, a past president of the Canadian Association for Dental Research, and a co-author of the U.S. National Research Council’s 2006 report on fluoride in drinking water.  The focus of the interview is fluoridation, and includes discussion of the NRC’s report, neurotoxicity, and what caused Dr. Limeback to go from supporting the practice to opposing it.

Please share this video, and consider following Staudenmaier and Limeback on Twitter, where they both regularly post about fluoride and fluoridation. Staudenmaier also has a Youtube channel where she has recently released a video showing a Wisconsin Public Health official (an epidemiologist) reject the idea of warning parents against bottle-feeding infants with fluoridated water, egregiously ignoring the countless government funded and peer reviewed studies now linking it with lowered IQ, an increased risk of ADHD, and dental fluorosis.  She has also release an important video message to water operators around the world, sharing the latest science and urging them to take action to end fluoridation.  Please consider sharing it with your own water or utility employees.
