Boyne City City Clerk Cindy Grice on Tuesday confirmed that a group has submitted enough valid signatures on a petition to force a vote on whether fluoride should be added to the city’s water system.
… In the group’s release, one of the organizers of the group who circulated the petition, Carl VanDomelen said, “This is a great day for the citizens of the City of Boyne City. The issue of fluoridation will now be up to the voters, not in the hands of the Commissioners”
