Thank you Bill Foreman for your excellent letter to the Spokesman-Review on Aug. 6 (“Fluoridation costly, unneeded”). That is the best letter I have read in a long time.
I agree with you on the fluoridation issue that keeps popping up. Let’s keep our water pure and quit putting additives in our water and food supply. If you ask the children how many glasses of water they drank today, they will say none, but they had several sodas or sport drinks. Also maybe a handful of M&M’s. I say for the parents to buy a tube of fluoride toothpaste and make sure the children use it. Even low-income families can afford that.
I don’t want to do my laundry or water my lawn in fluoride water. What next?
