1938 was the year that the heavily polluting aluminum producers began negating studies and burying science that showed severe harm and damage from fluoride emitted from their waste stacks.
This set the precedent for the fertilizer industry to convince doctors and dentists, through clever PR campaigns, that hydrofluosilicic acid scrubbed from their industrial waste stacks, was good for children and their teeth and was, of course, safe and effective.
That mantra of safe and effective continues to this day, with poorly designed, misleading and manipulative studies, and a large dose of buried science.
The denial and hue and cry of “just one study” following the release of the extremely well done Till and Green study out of York University recently, proving neurotoxicity of fluoride, is disheartening.
There are literally thousands of studies since 1938 showing harm from fluoride. The supporters of artificial water fluoridation have only to take off the blinders, unplug their ears, and take their fingers off the delete buttons.
