McMinnville City Council to hold fluoridation meeting on Nov 9, 2010

The McMinnville City Council has been asked to amend the City’s Charter that directs McMinnville Water and Light to fluoridate the City’s drinking water supply.

In 1960, as the result of an initiative petition, the voters passed a measure that directed McMinnville Water and Light to fluoridate the City’s drinking water supply.

On November 9, 2010, at 7 p.m. the City Council will hold a public hearing to take testimony from interested parties on this matter. The public hearing will be held at the McMinnville Civic Hall, 200 NE Second Street, McMinnville, Oregon.

If you wish to submit written testimony (in lieu of oral testimony at the hearing) to 230 NE Second Street, McMinnville, Oregon. Statements may also be submitted electronically at: testimony@ci.mcminnville.or.us All testimony must be received by the City no later than 5p.m. on Tuesday, November 9, 2010.
