Nalgonda leaders plead for drinking water project

HYDERABAD: In response to a report carried in The Times of India, leaders of various political parties from Nalgonda district on Tuesday appealed to Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu to consider immediate sanction of the Madharam reservoir drinking water project, to solve the fluoride problem in 36 villages.

In a representation submitted to Naidu under the leadership of S Jaipal Reddy, MP from Miryalguda, the all-party delegation comprising leaders from Telugu Desam, Congress, Left, BJP and Telangana Rastra Samithi,urged the chief minister to take up the water project in Kodad area, either with NABARD or other assistance.”
