The New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) is offering two funding opportunities for communities to promote fluoridation of water supplies.  The first funding opportunity is primarily for communities that want to start fluoridating water supplies.  The second funding opportunity is for communities that want to improve or repair existing water fluoridation systems.  However, there is some overlap in the purposes of each grant opportunity.  This is part of the funding that New York State Dental Association helped secure in the 2015-2016 State Budget to support water fluoridation efforts throughout New York.  To read the NYSDOH funding opportunity for starting water fluoridation, use the first link below.  To read the NYSDOH funding opportunity for improving or repairing existing water fluoridation systems, use the second link below.
