Product Info: All pack sizes 1 litre, 5 litre, 20 litre, 200 litre, All Batches. The product's registration will be cancelled on 31 March 2002. The Commonwealth of Australia Gazette Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals issue Number NRA2, dated 5 February 2002, advises that it will be unlawful to supply or use Bayticol Pour-on after 31 March 2002 and unlawful to possess or have custody of the product after 31 August 2002.

Defect details: The continued supply of this product may pose a risk to Australia's overseas trade in beef, because Flumethrin - the active constituent of Bayticol Pour-On is not registered in some overseas countries.

Consumer action: Product can be returned to the place of purchase. Retailers will return the product to Bayers for refund. For opened product refunds will be based on the proportion remaining. Customers are urged to return all such product under this recall. Bayer will not refund for the return of expired product or return of product after 31 August 2002.
