Dr. Elizabeth Neary, Pediatrician
“If you asked me last year how I felt about fluoride in municipal water supplies, I would have pounded the desk and said it is the greatest public health advance in the last 50 years, and people who want to remove it are on the fringe. That’s what I would have said last year. But today I have a different opinion.”
Dr. Elizabeth Neary practiced general pediatrics in Madison, WI for 15 years. Neary is a member of the Wisconsin Environmental Health Network, a local group of health professionals dedicated to education and advocacy around environmental health issues, and of the Council on Environmental Health of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Neary’s statement on water fluoridation was given as part of public testimony in the 7/13/20202 Green Bay, WI Protection and Policy Committee hearing on fluoride in water: https://youtu.be/Vueqc0YDtpU?t=12235
