Last Hours of the Fundraiser – Donations Still Doubled

Dear Friends:

First, on behalf of the whole FAN team we would like to wish all our supporters and their families a very happy and safe New Year.

Yesterday was another huge day, as is typical with our year-end fundraiser. The last week in December, and especially the last days always seem to be the biggest. We raised an astounding $14,976.24 from 61 donors. Remarkably, after checking with our “super angel” who pledged to match donations until midnight tonight, this WILL BE DOUBLED to $29,952! Our new total for the fundraiser is  $93,650 from 601 donors.

A big thank you to all who have supported us this December and throughout the years. Together we’ve accomplished a lot, and all of us at FAN are grateful for every ounce of support each of you have offered, whether with a contribution or with your time helping out with campaigns. THANK YOU.

We now have less than 24-hours to get as close as possible to our goal of $180,000 by midnight on New Years Eve. We’ll give everyone a break on Sunday, but will follow up early next week with our final tally to let everyone know how much we were able to double before the midnight deadline, as well as announce the winner of the countertop water filter raffle. I’ve also heard from several people that checks should be arriving in the mail any day, so I will wait to include those as well for an accurate count.

Remember, all donations received by midnight on tonight WILL CONTINUE TO BE DOUBLED!
