Last week, we shared four bulletins with you, providing an overview of significant achievements over the past year, sharing our new comprehensive e-book for decision makers and campaigners, showing how our success locally in the U.S. is spreading globally, and exposing how industry distorted science to promote fluoridation.

Over the coming days we’ll be publishing bulletins on the unprecedented wave of recent local victories and campaigns, an exciting update on state legislation, the latest information about our TSCA lawsuit and the EPA’s appeal, our responseto a new pro-fluoridation study claiming to “debunk” all of the research linking the practice to neurotoxicity, an update on action at the federal level, and much more. PLEASE STAY TUNED!

A Sweet Offer

I received an email from Jack Crowther, a long-time supporter, friend to FAN, and community organizer in Vermont who offered to help kick our fundraiser into overdrive with a “sweet deal” he’s offered for a number of years now. It always reminds me of how Paul Connett used to say that we needed to make sure to put some “fun” into our fundraiser.

Over the past 48 hours, we’ve raised $1,910 from 12 supporters, bringing our new total is $10,740 from 56 supporterstowards our goal of raising $150,000 from 600 donors by midnight on January 31st to fund our budget and to maintain limited staff in 2026. A huge thank you to all who have supported our work and have gotten our fundraiser off to a good start.

LIMITED OFFER: In an effort to get our fundraising numbers moving a little faster than sap from maple trees in spring, Jack is offering:

  • The first 30 people who donate $150 or more from this moment on a pint of pure Vermont maple syrup.
  • Anyone who has already donated $150 or more, or does so after the first 30 pints have been claimed up until the end of the fundraiser, will be entered into a random drawing for the remaining 10 pints.

If you’re one of the lucky ones who qualify for this sweet New England delicacy, we will use the address provided in your donation form to ship it to you at no cost. So please double-check to make sure your information is correct when you submit it.

This offer is only open to U.S. residents. We apologize to our supporters from outside the U.S. who would like to try some small-batch pure Vermont maple syrup, but the shipping cost and international duties are very steep at the moment. Thank you for understanding.

If you would like to offer your own creative gift giveaway or doubling challenge and watch your support for our cause inspire others to contribute, you can do so anonymously or by name. Simply send your suggested challenge to me in an email: stuart@fluoridealert.org
