It is disturbing enough that the many chemicals that come under the umbrella of Perfluorooalkyl Sulfonates are persistent, bioaccumulative, and toxic and that humans and wildlife have been the victims as we bear the burden of carrying them within our bodies.

I urge EPA to reconsider its unscientific, unethical, and irresponsible policy of continuing to keep secret the chemicals that are used as “Inerts” in the formulation of pesticide products. As EPA well knows the “Inerts” generally constitute the largest percentage of a pesticidal formulation. This is a policy that disenfranchises the American public and is antithetical to a democratic country. Over the years many of the Perfluoralkyl Sulfonates were included in EPA’s List of Inerts. Will EPA now inform the American public the names of the pesticides they were used in and on which food crops?

At least two of the chemicals on the PFOS List are on EPA’s List 3 Inerts. Does EPA still include them on List 3 Inerts? They are:
