Environment & Health Series: Dr. Christine Till
The Wisconsin Environmental Health Network’s Health & Environment Series continues. The third night of the four-part series featured a presentation by associate professor of Psychology at York University and clinical neuropsychologist, Dr. Christine Till. In her presentation titled, “Fluoride and the Developing Brain” she discusses the scientific evidence on the neurotoxicity of early-life fluoride exposure. It concludes with a discussion of why many questions about the safety of fluoridation are still not settled, the process of communicating hazard conclusions to the public, and some of the challenges associated with researching a controversial topic.
