Note:

According to the Minutes of the Attica City Common Council of January 11, 2016:

“Ron Jean/Streets Superintendent, explained that the City of Attica adds fluoride to our water supply. The pipe at the “T” by the air stripper has had to be replaced in the area where fluoride is pumped into the water supply due to corrosion. It has been replaced for the 3rd time since installing the air stripper in 2012 at a cost of $850 for the replacement parts. The City began adding fluoride to the water supply in 1986 because it is supposed to be good for your teeth. Mr. Askren suggested possibly having a Public Hearing on the topic of fluoride use.”
