Berkeley County: Resident wants water district practices changed

MARTINSBURG – After his youngest child was prescribed fluoride, Berkeley County resident Anthony Faiano sought to expand his awareness of the chemical compound.

… Faiano, however, believes that fluoridation poses serious health risks and long-term consequences to residents. Since fluoride can be prescribed, Faiano considers it a drug, and feels residents are being medicated without permission.

… To spread awareness, Fainao began a Facebook group called “Citizens for Safe Water” at www.facebook.com/safepublicwater and is encouraging residents to attend Tuesday’s water district meeting at 5 p.m.
