City of Buffalo Water Board officials say they have resumed the process of installing the necessary equipment to put fluoride back in the public drinking water.

Officials say city residents can expect fluoride to be in their water by the end of August 2024.

The city stopped putting fluoride into its water back in 2015.

Once residents learned of this last year, a group of families filed a class action lawsuit against the city, and that legal process is still playing out.
