Chippewa County: Free fluoride supplements for children 6 months to 16 years old

Source: Press release from Chippewa County Department of Public Health | December 13th, 2011
Industry type: Human experiments

Attention Parents:

Having adequate fluoride in your child’s drinking water or taking a daily fluoride supplement is important in the development of strong teeth. Having stronger teeth is one way to decrease the chance that children will develop cavities.

Chippewa County Department of Public Health has a free fluoride supplement program that is available to your family. The following children are eligible for our program:

* 6 months to 16 years of age

*Chippewa County resident or attend a Chippewa County School

*Non-fluoridated drinking water supply (may need water test that we will provide)

*No income restrictions

*No insurance restrictions

We are seeking 50 children to newly enroll in our program by December 30, 2011 in order to maximize use of this free fluoride supplement program.

If you have any questions about this program, please feel free to call me at any time. If I’m not available, ask for the Public Health Intake Nurse.

Thank you for your assistance and Keep Smiling!
