A. Resolution 2009-27 – Fluoridation on Ballot

Council member Foster introduced Resolution 2009-27 and moved for its approval. The Clerk was directed to read the resolution by title.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CRETE, SALINE COUNTY, NEBRASKA:

That at the primary election to be held on Tuesday, the 11th of May, 2010 there shall be submitted to a vote of the qualified electors of the City of Crete, Nebraska, for adoption or rejection, the following proposition:

“Shall the City of Crete, Nebraska, enact an ordinance to prohibit/ forbid the addition of fluoride to the City’s system?”

Council member Bauer seconded the motion. Voting aye: Oelschlager, Vyhnalek, Bauer and Foster. Voting no: Kohl. Absent: Busboom. Motion carried…
