The city is mandated by code to put sodium fluoride in the public water supply; however, there’s a leak in the tank used to store that chemical. Now, the public utilities department is asking council to temporarily repeal the ordinance until they can get it fixed. Again, that meeting is this Tuesday, August 9 at 7 p.m. at City Hall on S. Main Street.
