Please be advised that during routine water testing it was found that fluoride concentration reported to be 2.0 to 2.5 mg/L at well 5 and between 0.8 and 1.9 mg/L in the distribution system. These results indicate concentrations in excess of the Ontario Drinking Water Quality Standard of 1.5 mg/L at some times and locations within the distribution system.

Fluoride is a common element found in the earths crust and is naturally found in drinking water. Dundalk drinking water is safe for consumption and users should be aware to limit excessive exposure to fluoride from other sources.
