Source: Calgary Herald | October 7th, 2021
Location: Canada, Alberta

The next city council could be asked to return fluoride to the city’s water supply. What is your position on this?

I oppose the introduction of fluoride.

Occupation:

Retired from engineering design and drafting

Political/volunteer experience:

Actively volunteering when Mr. Al Duerr was the mayor. Helping in the kitchen of Drop-In Centre many times.

What is your motivation for seeking a seat on city council?

To make improvements to the city operation. To give back to society for the betterment of current and future generations of Calgary.

Describe your leadership style:

I lead by showing good examples. I would inspire my fellow co-workers or citizens to do better other than getting the pay. I will motivate them to provide services for the general public.

What do you consider the single most important issue facing Calgarians, and what should be done about it?

Unemployment at 9.8% as of July 2021.

I have three plans to revitalize the economy of Calgary.

What are the three most important issues in your ward, and how would you address them?

The economy.

The transportation or traffic flow system on the roads shared by motorists, cyclists, pedestrians and other electric vehicles. No regulations mean that they can be abandoned at the back of your house.

The retainment of talents and youths in the city.

Do you support the city’s downtown revitalization strategy? Where should funding and programs be focused?

I support the city’s downtown revitalization strategy. If in the time of implementation of my plans, the price is skyrocketing, I would let the REIT fund keepers keep them. I would develop in other places within the city. The funds would be generated by the revenue.

What innovative project or job creation measure can you propose to aid Calgary’s post-COVID economic recovery?

They would be disclosed in due course.

What should city council do to keep young adults from leaving Calgary?

As mentioned previously in the retainment of talents and youth, I would make sure my plans would be working in full force to employ them.
