JOHNSTOWN – Fluoride may stop a Johnstown neighborhood from getting Gloversville water that could have solved potential water pressure issues when fighting fires.

The city has come to a standstill because of a local law prohibiting flouride from being added to the city’s water. Gloversville fluoridates its water.
