The Newton County Quorum Court passed a resolution at its Nov. 3 meeting opposing the state law mandating fluoride in community water supplies and suggesting that fluoridation be voluntary according to the wishes of the individual water board. It revisited that resolution Dec. 2 and amended it by omitting a section.
