Lacombe County listens to presentations on fluoride survey, proposed data centre

Lacombe County Council has approved several key initiatives and received multiple presentations during its March 12 meeting.

Council approved the 2026 Economic Development Strategy Update, which will now include a reference to nuclear power.

Fluoride survey

Council also reviewed a presentation on a proposed fluoride survey for residents in Lakeview Estates. Administration has been authorized to distribute a fact sheet, survey, and prepaid return envelope to gather feedback on in-home reverse osmosis systems.
