What is your motivation for seeking a seat on city council?

I want Calgary to be a most livable city again. To work towards this, there must be strong public services and a commitment to a post-pandemic recovery. With a revitalized infrastructure, our city can attract new businesses and create new employment opportunities. We need to retain our young adults so that they can work and thrive here. Affordable housing and quality low-cost childcare are key. Homelessness must be addressed. Good maintenance of our beautiful parks and no redevelopment of parklands is important. Completion of the Green Line is needed. Seniors need to be cared for and cultural diversity should be celebrated.

I am a born and raised Calgarian and I care deeply for this fair city and the people who reside here. I will always listen to my constituents’ concerns and do my best to represent them.

What do you consider the single most important issue facing Calgarians, and what should be done about it?

Right now it is getting past the pandemic. We must comply with medically approved measures, promote vaccinations and protect vulnerable individuals.
