A battle over fluoridated water in Philomath goes to a second round at Monday’s meeting of the Philomath City Council.
At the meeting scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday at City Hall, 980 Applegate St., Benton County Health Department and Philomath doctors plan to ask the council to reconsider its unanimous May 9 decision to remove fluoride from the city’s water.
Fluoride is a naturally occurring mineral that protects against tooth decay.
