Plant City: Bids sought for fluoridation

The city is seeking bids from companies interested in installing the equipment needed to fluoridate the municipal water supply.

The city has talked for years about fluoridating the water, which many dentists say will lower the number of cavities residents get. The city hopes to have the water fluoridated by Jan. 1.

Bids are due Aug. 30.
