Police have arrived at a protest at the entrance of a proposed fluoride dosing plant at Corndale near Lismore.

About 20 people have this morning blocked the entrance to the Corndale site, intent on stopping a crane from entering.

They believe a truck carrying material for the dosing plant is due to arrive at 11am.

Group spokesman Peter Lehner said fluoride opponents wanted their human rights respected.

‘We do not want mass medication in our community, and we want pharmaceutical grade fluoride pills not industrial grade HFSA (hydrofluorosilicic acid) which is really industrial waste including varying amounts of toxic heavy metals, including uranium,’ he said.
