The City of Calgary expects to start adding fluoride back into its water supply within a few weeks.

The city says work to install equipment at its water treatment plants should wrap up by the end of March.

In 2011, council voted to remove fluoride.

In a 2021 plebiscite, 62 per cent of Calgary voters cast ballots in favour of adding fluoride back.

The cost to reintroduce fluoride is $28 million, with annual costs of $1 million.
