Salina: KU professor to speak Jan. 31 about harmful effects of fluoride

John Boesen, of Salina, and Albert Burgstahler, professor emeritus of chemistry at the University of Kansas, will speak about the harmful effects of fluoride on people and the environment at 7 p.m. Jan. 31 in the Prescott Room of Salina Public Library.

Burgstahler is co-author of the book “Fluoridation: The Great Dilemma.”

The seminar is sponsored by Salina Cares, which is working to try to have fluoride removed from Salina’s public water supply.
