Learn more about water fluoridation at a free educational forum on Monday, Sept. 30 from 6-8 p.m., at the Glaser Center located 547 Mendocino Ave. in Santa Rosa.

The forum will have an impartial moderator, with two dentists speaking in support of fluoridation, and two dentists sharing the reasons they oppose fluoridation.

One who will speak on behalf of fluoridation is Ezbon Jen, DDS, who has served as Dean of Instructions, Health Sciences at Santa Rosa Junior College for the last 16 years. Speaking against fluoridation will be Dr. Bill Osmunson, DDS, who was an advocate of water fluoridation until 25 years ago when one of his patients urged him to read the scientific studies for himself.

Osmunson is the West Coast spokesperson for Fluoride Action Network, the current President of Washington Action for Safe Water, founding director of the Institute of Comprehensive Dental Studies for aesthetic dentistry, neuromuscular and craniofacial pain.
