BRAINERD — Stage North Theatre Company unveiled its 2025 Season of plays.
Kicking off the 11th season is an original, historical, musical production entitled “Fluoride, the Musical.” It re-examines Brainerd’s infamous battle to stay fluoride-free and the philosophical predicament that ensues when the city finds itself battling the state of Minnesota. With script and music by Roger Nieboer (“Baby Face” in 2018 and “Paul Bunyan: the Man, the Myth, the Musical” in 2021), the show explores serious social issues with humor, compassion, and enough singing and dancing teeth to bring smiles all round.
Auditions: 7 p.m. Dec. 17 and Dec. 19.
Performances: 7 p.m. Feb. 27-March 1; 2 p.m. March 1-2.
