Sunbury Municipal Authority begins discussing removal of fluoride in water system

SUNBURY — Officials within the Sunbury Municipal Authority are seeking public input over the next month regarding fluoride in the municipal water system.
Authority General Manager Derrick Backer said the board is beginning to discuss the possibility of removing fluoride from the system. According to a public notice published in The Daily Item on Sept. 18, residents can submit comments through Oct. 21.
