The next city council could be asked to return fluoride to the city’s water supply. What is your position on this?
Before I make a final decision, I would like to look at the budget and project to see what is needed, prior to getting the system up and running.

Ran in the 2017 election and assisted with three terms within Rockyview County door knocking and as a scrutineer.
What is your motivation for seeking a seat on city council?
To contribute my experience and expertise and be the voice for Ward 12.
Describe your leadership style:
Participative leader. I involve team members in the decision-making process so they feel included, engaged and motivated to contribute.
What do you consider the single most important issue facing Calgarians, and what should be done about it?
We need to do a better job attracting new businesses, people, creating jobs and a great family lifestyle.
What are the three most important issues in your ward, and how would you address them?
1. Policing. We need to find money within our budget so we can have more police services within our areas.
2. Infrastructure. We need better access within our communities to service residents and businesses, as access is not the best. I would like to discuss with planning, roads and developers on finding solutions to accommodate our roads.
3. Transit. We need to get the rails back on track for our Greenline and have better bus services. Again, looking at the budget and having a conversation with Calgary Transit officials to look for innovative ways to accommodate transit services.
Do you support the city’s downtown revitalization strategy? Where should funding and programs be focused?
We do need to have our downtown become as vibrant as we once were. Chinatown, Stephen Avenue, Olympic Plaza as these iconic sites and part of our proud history.
What innovative project or job creation measure can you propose to aid Calgary’s post-COVID economic recovery?
Working with other municipalities we can develop large businesses (like Wayfair warehouse, CP intermodals etc) which will create a tax base for Calgary and generate hundreds of jobs.
What should city council do to keep young adults from leaving Calgary?
Our youth are very important. We need to create work experience programs so that they have a chance to obtain experience and be able to make a living and raise their families here in Calgary.
