Springville, Utah – Trivani International, the world’s first Purpose Marketing company, has created a toxin free toothpaste as a healthy alternative to grocery store brand products. This development is the result of a plethora of research and studies about the effects of fluoride in regular toothpastes.

The Journal of the American Medical Association (1990-1992) has reported a greater incidence of hip fractures in fluoridated areas in the U.S. and Britain, while The New England Journal of Medicine (1990) reported that the fluoride treatment of osteoporosis patients resulted in higher hip fracture rates. The governmental National Institute of Environmental and Health Sciences (1990) has also reported that fluoride may be a cause of cancer.

As of April 7, 1997, the United States Food & Drug Administration required that all fluoride toothpastes sold in the U.S. carry a poison warning, as ingesting the chemical in large quantities may be lethal.

“A seven ounce tube of toothpaste, theoretically at least, contains enough fluoride to kill a small child.” (Procter & Gamble, quoted in Fluoride the Aging Factor p. 14)

The American Dental Association recently conducted a large study on 39000 American children and found that the children did not derive any advantages from the use of fluoride. Earlier research has also been confirmed, as studies have proven that fluoride is toxic for adults when the amount is over 1000 ppm or 500 ppm for children. Most grocery store toothpaste brands have a formula which contains 0.15% w/v fluoride ion.

After realizing the harmful effects average toothpaste may have on consumers, Trivani International decided to create a product that would “do no harm” as their philosophy states. Trivani offers an oral care product called “Trivani’s Cleansing Toothgel” which contains no harmful ingredients, and does not contain fluoride. Xylitol is a key ingredient in Trivani’s Toothgel product, as it is a natural ingredient typically derived from corn. It helps to remove plaque and prevent plaque build-up. Zinc citrate is another naturally occurring mineral and important ingredient which intentionally interferes with the calcification of plaque into tartar. These two key ingredients replace fluoride and are a healthy alternative and create a more efficient product.
