Council reversed its earlier decision to remove the mineral.
The decision has been made, the notices have been sent and fluoride is going back into Wellington’s water today.
But Wellington residents got a last chance to speak their mind before that happens.
People last week took to social media, including the Palm Beach Post’s “Post on Wellington” Facebook page to voice their concerns, praises or indifference to the fluoride returning.
For some, fluoride is like an unavoidable poison going back into their water after an absence of about three years.
Even for those who don’t drink water from the faucet, they will be exposed to the fluoride in their showers, said 10-year resident Jason Cedeno.
“Mot of us don’t drink tap water but we shower in it and we don’t know how much is going in our body,” he said.
