Yutan says no to fluoride

Question: “Shall the City of Yutan, Nebraska, adopt an ordinance to prohibit the addition of fluoride to the City’s water system?”

Yes Votes: 195

No Votes: 85

This election had a 37% turn-out.

According to the Omaha World-Herald: “Last November in the general election, Yutan residents voted 292 to 265 to add fluoride. Some voters, however, complained that they were confused by the ballot language and the town’s city council agreed to seek another vote.”
