1998-1999 Queensland Pesticide Residue Report

The mean amounts of organophosphorous (OP) and synthetic pyrethroid (SP) residues detected were 2.0 mg/kg and 0.8 mg/kg, respectively. OP was not detected in 61.3 per cent of the lots tested and SP was not detected in 86.9 per cent of lots tested.

The mean amount of cyromazine, diflubenzuron and triflumuron (from the IGR chemical group) residue were 12.7, 5.8 and 13.0 mg/kg respectively. Cyromazine was not detected in 61 per cent of samples; diflubenzuron was not detected in 81 per cent of samples and triflumuron was not detected in 48 per cent of samples.
