At the request of the Committee, we have enclosed a brief description of the time trends for bone and joint cancers and for osteosarcomas in the Surveillance, Epidemiology and End Results (SEER) Program of the National Cancer Institute (NCI), and the relationship of these trends to fluoridation of drinking water supplies.
