Oliver Springs seeks to stop putting fluoride in city water

OLIVER SPRINGS — The long-simmering controversy over putting fluoride in public water supplies, which has raged off and on for decades, has reignited here.

The town’s Water Board has voted to quit adding the chemical to the water, expressing concern that it is a hazardous substance.
