  • Yet More Research on Fluoride & the Brain

    A new study has just been published which further elucidates how fluoride may damage the brain. Specifically, the authors suggest that fluoride may reduce the number of “nicotinic acetylcholine receptors” by increasing the level of oxidative stress.

  • Mullenix responds to EPA’s criticism

    Mullenix’s response provides an excellent history of the research which led up to her study, and it takes particular exception to EPA’s critique of the computer pattern recognition system which she and her colleagues used to measure the rats’ behavior.

  • Fluoride & the Brain

    The most recent Chinese study on fluoride & the brain was posted on PubMed just last week. The study looked at the effect of fluoride on the hippocampal region of rat brain, and concluded that: “Fluoride may go through the blood-brain barrier and accumulate in rat hippocampus, and inhibit the activity of cholinesterase.”
