Fundraising Update

Some generous donations from Australia and the UK in the wee hours of this morning boosted our total to $48,435 from 205 donors as of 7 am today (Dec 15). This means that we are in very good shape to reach $50,000 by midnight tonight which will trigger another $2,000 from a super angel pledge.

But we can’t stop there. Our mini-goal for Christmas Eve is $120,000, so we are going to need a lot of miracles before then.

So please make a donation today – large or small –and become a member of the FAN team for 2018 and help rid the world of fluoridation.

You can follow our progress on our homepage  www.FluorideALERT.org (masthead #1) for the totals.

Legal Recourse for Fluoride Victims

Does your child have moderate or severe dental fluorosis from excessive fluoride in drinking water or fluoride supplements?  If your child’s teeth have been damaged due to fluoride exposure you may have legal rights.  Chris Nidel and the lawyers at the Washington, D.C. law firm Nidel & Nace are investigating claims against water companies and supplement manufacturers for injuries caused by ingesting excessive fluoride and for their failing to warn of its negative impacts, such as dental fluorosis.

Fair Warning

We recommend that our supporters read this well-balanced article on fluoridation from the blog: FairWarning. Yes, there are things in this we disagree with (the CDC Oral Health claims on benefits) but this is dwarfed by exposing readers to the growing research which indicates harm. This includes neurotoxic effects most recently highlighted in the landmark Bashash et al, 2017 study on in utero exposure and lowered IQ in offspring.  This study was funded by the U.S. agencies: National Institutes of Health, National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, and the Environmental Protection Agency; as well as the National Institute of Public Health/Ministry of Health of Mexico.

We think this article reflects how much FAN and others have achieved in educating citizens and journallists on this reckless practice.

Listen to FAN’s Year-In-Review Teleconference Audio

If you missed the December International Fluoride Free Teleconference, hosted by Clint Griess, you can now download or stream the audio on your computer or mobile device.  FAN Outreach Director, Jay Sanders and Senior Advisor, Paul Connett, PhD, and I provided a year in review for our campaign against fluoridation.  There was also Q&A from participants.
