The Health Minister is rejecting pressure for the Government to make decisions on water fluoridation.

Hamilton City Council yesterday deferred a vote on whether or not to reintroduce fluoride, prompting mayor Julie Hardaker to call on the Government to step in.

Minister Tony Ryall says the Government has no plans to take decision making out of communities’ hands.
