Port Angeles: several meetings on fluoridation on Sept 15

Port Angeles City

Council members will hear a report on an upcoming advisory survey on fluoridation when they meet Tuesday.  The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at City Hall, 321 E. Fifth St.

It will be preceded by a 5:30 p.m. executive session to discuss potential litigation.

An advisory survey will be mailed by Nov. 6 to city and unincorporated Clallam County residents and businesses that will ask if the city should continue fluoridating the water supply.  In other agenda items…

Board of Health

The Clallam County Board of Health will hear reports on the state Department of Health’s consultation on Port Angeles Harbor when it meets Tuesday.

The board will meet at 1:30 p.m. in Room 160 of the Clallam County Courthouse, 223 E. Fourth St., Port Angeles.

The board also will receive an update on shellfish harvesting in and around Dungeness Bay and a report on fluoridation of drinking water.

Olympic Medical Center

The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. in Linkletter Hall in the basement of Olympic Medical Center, 939 Caroline St., Port Angeles.

Olympic Medical Center commissioners will consider endorsing fluoridation of Port Angeles drinking water.
