Fundraiser Update
Since yesterday’s bulletin we received $1,860 from 17 donors for a new total of $11,474 from 107 donors.
All donations up to $740 will be doubled due to a generous challenge that began yesterday.
We need your help to raise $150,000 this month for FAN’s 2015 operating budget.
Recurring Donations are the least painful way to donate. You can do this at FAN’s online server. Each month an amount you choose will be charged to your credit card. If you start now, you will have a generous amount that you will be able to deduct off next year’s taxes.

Fluoride Awareness Week
The Fluoride Action Network has teamed up with Dr. Joseph Mercola and Mercola.com to bring you Fluoride Awareness Week. From December 8-13, Dr. Mercola will be publishing articles and videos dedicated to educating citizens about the risks associated with fluoride and the need for ending the practice worldwide. The week will wrap up with an unprecedented opportunity for supporters around the world to interact with the entire Fluoride Action Network team on a teleconference this Sunday (see more info below).
Dr. Mercola kicked off Awareness week with a new 40-minute video interview with FAN’s Director, Paul Connett, Ph.D. You can also view a transcript of the interview here.
Dr. Mercola will be publishing articles every day this week, and has already published several articles, including:
- “The ‘Healthy’ Practice That has Deceived the World,” by Dr. Paul Connett
- “Why Water Fluoridation Continues, Despite Flying in the Face of Science,” by Dr. Mercola
- “Important Facts You Need to Know About Water Fluoridation,” by Dr. Mercola
Mercola.com has also produced two infographics that can be shared on social media, embedded on your website or blog, or downloaded and passed out as a fliers:
Dr. Mercola does with many issues what the biggest health and environmental organizations don’t. He educates his readership on a daily basis and he actively supports issues and groups that he believes in, such as:
- Organic food – Organic Consumer’s Association
- Ending GMOs – Institute for Responsible Technology & Food Democracy Now
- Ending mercury amalgams in dentistry – Campaign for Mercury Free Dentistry
- Fewer vaccinations for our infants – National Vaccine Information Center
- Ending fluoridation of the public drinking water – Fluoride Action Network
We are proud of Dr. Mercola’s trust and support not only for FAN but for our fellow activists in the above groups.
For the fourth year in a row, Dr. Mercola will match the funds his supporters give to FAN. This year, he believes a $25,000 match is “the right thing to do.” To this end, Mercola has launched a promotional deal for his online store. He will donate up to $25,000 in profits from the sales from his store during Awareness week.

Q & A with the Fluoride Action Network
On Sunday, December 14th at 5pm (EST), the entire Fluoride Action Network team will be featured on this month’s International Fluoride Free Teleconference. The call is free and will provide a year-in-review of the fluoride issue, as well as provide an opportunity for supporters to ask the FAN team questions. So please register today to interact with fellow campaigners from around the world and have your questions about fluoride answered by the experts.
