McDougall council has discussed a by-law to have fluoride removed for the municipal water supply. At their meeting on Wednesday night, council looked over a draft by-law requested from the Town of Parry Sound to discontinue fluoride in the municipal drinking water. Mayor Dale Robinson says McDougall council liked the by-law as it was written, but they didn’t pass it that night.
Mayor Dale Robinson says council also voted on the annual McDougall Nobel Distribution Report for 2015.
This is a requirement for any municipality that operates a municipal water system and a copy of the report will be sent to the Ministry of the Environment.
