McMinnville: Request for fluoridation referendum

Excerpt from city council meeting:

* Heard a second request from resident Jo McIntyre to put a measure on the November ballot to have voters re-decide whether city water should be fluoridated. McIntyre, who opposes fluoridation, told the council that this would be an appropriate time to have voters reconsider the issue, because this year marks the 50th anniversary of the original approval vote.
