OLIVER SPRINGS — When the town’s current stockpile of fluoride runs out in about a week, Oliver Springs will discontinue putting that chemical in its water supply.

Thursday’s vote on the hot-button issue by the Board of Aldermen — sitting as the Oliver Springs Water Board — puts to rest an issue that’s been discussed by town officials for more than two years.
